A $1.8 million data network upgrade to provide faster internet download speed in Tonga has been completed by Digicel. All sites across Tongatapu, Ha‘apai, Vava’u and ‘Eua are now using what is termed LTE or “Long Term Evolution”, which is a marketing phrase to signify progression toward true 4G.
