Anita Toutai’olepo (45) was sentenced to life imprisonment for the importation of 81.64 grams of methamphetamine, discovered inside a coffee bottle with a plastic-wrapped package in a drum shipped from her father in the United States in 2024.

Fine Tevita Fifita (31) and Vaivevea Mafi (45) are serving life imprisonment after being found guilty on charges that included the unlawful importation of 1157.4 grams of methamphetamine, concealed inside a crate in a container shipped from the United States of America in 2023.

A suspended Senior Customs Officer, Paula Naitoko (62), was found guilty today of importing substantial amount of methamphetamine and firearms, concealed in a box from the United States in 2019. “6662 grams of methamphetamine was a huge shipment." said the judge. Naitoko remains on bail for sentencing on 23 September.
