Results for Consumer Protection Act

Tonga’s Parliament passed a new Consumer Protection Act last week. The Act, developed with support from the Asian Development Bank, substantially updates Tonga’s legal framework to safeguard consumer rights and promote fair trading. The Act will come into effect after it receives the Royal assent.
