JOB VACANCIES

Tonga Power Limited is a Public Enterprise responsible for the generation, distribution, and supply of electricity to consumers in Tonga. Applicants are invited to apply for the following positions;

S/No. Position Minimum Requirements

1.

Asset & Network Engineer

(Tongatapu)
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field from a recognised Institute.
2. Senior Administration Officer
  • At least a Diploma in Accounting or Information Systems or related field from a recognised Institute

3.

 Senior Risk & Compliance Officer
  • Bachelor in Risk Management or relevant discipline or
  • Diploma in Business management with at least 2 years of experience in similar role.
4. Graduate Engineer
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, electrical engineering is preferred
  • Qualification in associated areas, electrical wiring, equipment maintenance and repair
5. Technician- Engineering
  • Tertiary Certifications: Technicians often benefit from industry-recognized certifications that validate specific technical skills. Examples include:
  • Certified Engineering Technician (CET): Offered by organizations like the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
  • Certified Electronics Technician (CET): Offered by the Electronics Technicians Association (ETA).
