Maui lifted the sky so people would not crawl

London, UK

I have been reading all the discussions with great sadness. Our Crown Prince has all the right to defend himself and Clive has all the right in the world to say what he wants to say. What is missing here is the people, the poor loyal servants of the island Kingdom, the "Paradise of the Pacific".

I only wish that the Crown Prince and Clive would direct their attention and all their efforts to helping the people. They claim to help but that's the long way. There are many things on the poor people's backs and one of them has the Crown Prince involved. I think that if the Crown Prince will cut the cost of electricity, the people might walk straight up again.

Maui lifted the sky so that people would not crawl to get water, perhaps hrh can make a difference. I am glad that Tupou Layton is eager to help the poor people of Tonga but yet I have not heard nor seen any work that she has done for the people. We have our saying "lea pe ngaue". My only hope is that some day leaders would turn around and look at the people first before they look at themselves in the mirror.

Yours faithfully,

S. Vaiangina, U.K.
