Position Minimum Requirements Salary
Strategic Planning and Development Manager

Either/or:

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification (TNQAB Framework Level 8+) with 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant degree + 3 years in a similar role or 6 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Relevant Diploma + 6 years’ in a similar role or 10 years’ relevant work experience.

Current Tonga Police employee with at least 10 years of policing experience including at least 4 years in a leadership role.

Knowledge and understanding of Tonga Police’s operational environment is highly desirable.

Salary Range: I ($34,342 - $51,511)
Starting point to commensurate with
the qualification and experience
brought to the role.
Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Either/or:
  • Relevant degree + up to 3 years’ work experience.
  • Relevant Diploma + 3 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Relevant certificate + 5 years’ relevant work experience or 3 years in a similar role.

Current public service or Private sector employee with 5 years’ experience in a planning or M&E role.

Knowledge and understanding of Tonga Police’s operational environment would be an advantage.

Salary Range: L ($2,2133 - $3,3194)
Starting point to commensurate with
the qualification and experience
brought to the role.
Human Resources Officer Either/or:
  • Relevant Diploma Level 5/6 Tonga National Qualifications and Accreditation Board (TNQAB) framework + up to 3 years’ relevant work experience.
  • Relevant certificate level 4/trade/technical qualification + 3 years’ relevant work experience.

Current Tonga Police employee with 5 years’ experience in a similar role (meeting other core competency and experience requirements specified in the job description + PMS scores of 3 or above for the past 2 consecutive years).

Salary Range: L ($2,2133 - $3,3194)
