First Pacific scientist to win NZ PM’s Science Prize

Associate Professor Dianne Sika-Paotonu of Tongan descent from the University of Otago won the 2022 NZ Prime Minister’s Science Communication Prize - the first time for a Pacific scientist to receive the award.
