The UK deplores the expulsion of NZ High Commissioner

Commenting on the expulsion of the New Zealand High Commissioner to Fiji, Ian McCartney MP, Minister of State in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said today, "The UK government deplores the expulsion of the New Zealand High Commissioner, Michael Green from Fiji. This is an unjustified action and raises serious concerns about the Interim Government's commitment to returning to a fully functioning parliamentary democracy." British High Commission, 15/06/07.
