Tongan workers win volleyball league

A volleyball team made up of of Tongan Seasonal workers won the Motueka Volleyball League in New Zealand last week after remaining undefeated throughout the season.

The success above I was
The success above I was silently happy with. But, I am not sure that the Tonga Volleyball had a team during XV Pacific Games in PNG?
The preference to work is more important than sports. Our local village Rugby Union team has suffered due to RSE. The RSE is not to blame. Programmes for players, selections, tournaments and RSE should be moulded together - allowing our amateur status to survive in the professional arenas.
A. Fonua's swimming success is due to his professional commitment overseas. Our rugby, boxing, athletics failed to register in the Pacific Games 2015.
