Key Responsibilities:
- Finance & Admin Officer: Oversee the financial operations; administrative functions; assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation; Provide training and support to staff on financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
- KM Officer: Responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, research, and learning framework of the project
- Nursery Team leader: Oversee all nursery operations, manage staff, and ensure high-quality seedling production.
- Nursery Supervisor: Supervise daily nursery activities, maintain records, and assist in training nursery staff.
- Senior Nursery Officer: Lead specific nursery projects, monitor plant health, and implement best practices.
- Nursery Officer: Assist in the propagation, cultivation, and care of plants within the nursery.
- Seed Processing Team leader: Manage seed processing operations, ensure quality control, and oversee the seed processing team.
- Seed Processing Supervisor: Supervise seed processing activities, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Seed Production Technician: Conduct seed processing tasks, monitor equipment performance, and support seed quality assessments.
- Seed Production Field Officer: Coordinate field activities related to seed production, monitor crop health, and manage field trials.
- Extension Team leader: Lead the extension team, develop outreach programs, and support community engagement.
- Extension Supervisor: Supervise extension activities, provide technical support, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
- Senior Extension Officer: Implement extension projects, conduct training sessions, and support community development initiatives.
- Extension Officer: Assist in the delivery of extension services, provide technical advice to farmers, and support community-based projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Relevant degree or certification in agriculture, horticulture, agronomy, or related fields.
- Experience: Varies by position; generally seeking candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Strong communication, project management, technical expertise in relevant areas, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Tongan is preferred.
- Other Requirements: Commitment to sustainable agriculture and rural development.
