 The Office of the Ombudsman advises that the following vacancies are available for internal (i.e within the Government) and external (i.e from general public) applications:

Senior Investigation Officer (Re-advertise) 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • BA in a relevant field (from a TNQAB accredited institution) with 3 years relevant work experience 
  • Desirable – LLB (from a TNQAB accredited institution) with 2 years relevant work experience 
  • Desirable - a registered Law Practitioner with the Supreme Court of Tonga or eligible to be registered 

Investigation Officer (Re-advertise) 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • BA in a relevant field (from a TNQAB accredited institution) 
  • Desirable – LLB (from a TNQAB accredited institution) 
  • Desirable - a registered Law Practitioner with the Supreme Court of Tonga or eligible to be registered

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Tertiary educational qualification relevant to the position and proven operational management experience of at least 7 years in a senior management position in a comparable organization, with proven management experience in the relevant field. 
  • Legal qualification is desirable
