CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR PROJECT FUNDING PROPOSALS TO THE TONGA CLIMATE CHANGE FUND
In this call for applications for project funding proposals, the Tonga Climate Change Fund Management Committee approved 92 accredited entities to submit project proposal(s) for the Fund.
A call is now open for applications for funding proposals under these thematic grant windows including: Agriculture, Agroforestry, Tourism, Fisheries, Energy, Capacity Building and Climate Finance Sustainability. These grants aim to strengthen community resilience, safeguard livelihoods, and advance Tonga’s national climate change priorities.
All proposals must clearly demonstrate strong community benefits, inclusivity, long-term sustainability, and alignment with Tonga’s climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies.
All project applications must use the TCCF Project Application Form (Schedule 8, TCCF Regulations 2024) and meet the eligibility and compliance requirements under the TCCF Act 2021 and Regulations 2024.
Applications may be submitted in English or Tongan. Late submissions will not be considered.
Note: Please note that the accredited entities that were successful in the first call for project funding proposals are not eligible to apply in this second call.

The deadline for submissions is 5:00 PM, Friday 17 July 2026.
