Tonga Under-15 Junior men and women's basketball teams made their debut at the 2024 FIBA U15 Oceania Cup, with both teams entering the semi-finals in a winning streak this week.
The U15 Junior men made an impressive competition debut, winning over Tahiti 86-50 in their first game on Monday, 11 Novermber, following another win on Tuesday against New Caledonia 104-69, and securing a win over Guam 104-71 to join the semi-finals.
Their next test will be their biggest, as they face New Zealand today, 15 November, for a ticket to the final.

Women
Tonga's U15 Junior women’s impressed since the opening day, Monday, 11 November, winning over New Caledonia 80-43, and over Fiji, 76-52 on Tuesday, followed by beating Cook Islands 133-52. In the quarter-finals yesterday, they beat Guam 89-64.
Tonga U15 Junior women's will go up against Australia in the semi-finals later today.

This capitalizes an outstanding debut in the U15 Women's Oceania Cup for Tonga as they not only make it to the Semi-Finals but qualify for the FIBA U16 Women's Asia Cup 2025 as well.
