Pacific immunologist Chris Puli’uvea was thrilled to win the prestigious Cranwell Medal 2023 for excellence in science communication during the COVID pandemic. Tongan-born, Puli’uvea received the New Zealand Association of Scientists’ award, alongside fellow academic researcher, virologist Dr Natalie Netzler, on Tuesday in Auckland.
