The Queensland Reds partnered with Tonga Rugby Union, His Majesty's Armed Forces, and the Australian Defence Force to conduct an intensive coaching clinic for HMAF players and coaches, yesterday 23 July 2024. Both the Red's men's and women's teams are set and ready to tackle Tonga's 'Ikale Tahi and Lofas at Teufaiva Stadium in Nuku'alofa this Friday, 26 July 2024.

The Queensland Reds men’s and women’s teams are in town to play the ‘Ikale Tahi and the Lofa teams this Friday 26 July. There is also a week of high-performance activities and community engagements including coaching clinics, women in rugby leadership sessions, and community school visits. Tonga Rugby Union, Rugby Australia, the Queensland Reds and PacificAus Sports – the Australian Government’s flagship sports diplomacy initiative in the Pacific – have come together to bring a historic rugby tour to the beautiful shores of Tonga. The group have been mentored by a world class coaching group including Daryl Gibson (Fiji), Toutai Kefu (Tonga), Seilala Mapusua and Filoi Eneliko (Samoa), Paul Downes (Moana Pasifika) and Mere Moto (Fiji).
