King Tupou VI on 22 June 2017 appointed three new "Law Lords". Mrs Linda Simiki Folaumoetu’i (Tonga's first woman Law Lord), Mr Michael Dishington Scott K.C. and Mr Tu’inukutavake Barron Afeaki become members of two standing committees of the Privy Council.
