There were mixed emotions in the Tongan Parliament yesterday, 28 August, as it struggled to restore order and bring its 2014 Parliamentary Session to a peaceful closure, ending the first four years of Tonga's more-democratically elected government. China has given Tonga a grant worth an estimated $15 million pa'anga in Guangzhou last week as Tonga's Prime Minister acknowledged the Chinese Government's response to extend the repayment of Tonga's multi-million loan.
