Position Minimum Requirements Salary

Project Officer

Chief of Staff Command

Qualifications & Experience Either / or:

  • Relevant degree + up to 3 years work experience.
  • Relevant Diploma + 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Relevant Certificate +5 years relevant work experience or 3 years in a similar role.
  • Current Public Service or Private Sector employee with 5 years experience in a project coordination role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Tonga Police's operational environment would be an advantage.

Additional Requirements:

  • Potential to perform well in the position given a reasonable period of time for familiarization and/or training
  • Personal attributes and temperament relevant to the position
  • General health which will allow for the performance of all duties and functions of the position

Band L
($22,133- $33,194)

Starting point to commensurate with the qualification and experience brought to the role.

Curriculum Developer

Operations Support Command

 Either/or:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Policing or related field
  • Teaching certification or demonstrated equivalency
  • 5 years experience in related field with 2 additional years of experience in curriculum development
  • Knowledge and understanding of Tonga Police’s operational environment would be an advantage.

Band J
($30,526- $45,788)

Starting point to commensurate with the qualification and experience brought to the role.
