Tonga Power Limited (TPL) invites qualified and experienced contractors from Tongatapu to submit proposals for the provision of Mowing Services across TPL properties in various locations (see Fig 2.1 for details). This tender aims to secure a reliable service provider to maintain a clean and well-kept appearance at all TPL properties.
To ensure our properties remain in excellent condition, Tonga Power Limited seeks a contractor committed to consistent, high-quality service.
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
- Mowing and maintenance of grounds around all sites, including TPL’s solar facilities, offices, distribution sites, power stations, data collection areas, and wind turbine locations.
- Providing services at designated locations: Tofoa, Popua, Vaini, Niutoua, Nakolo, Matatoa Tofoa, and in the outer islands of Vava’u, ‘Eua, and Ha’apai.

Requirement for Valid Bid;
- In order to be valid, a bid must:Include a duly completed BID FORM and a copy of the BID FORM.
- Include a duly completed BID Declaration Form and a copy of the BID DECLARATION FORM.
- Lodge of application in accordance to condition of Bid.

Lodgement of Bids
- MUST be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “APPLICATION” addressed to CEO, Tonga Power Limited, Nukualofa, Tonga.
- MUST be clearly labelled “Bid for Mowing Services”.
Closing Time
The period for the receipt of bids will run until 4:00pm of 22nd November, 2024. (The deadline for bids submission). Any bid received after the Closing Date will not be considered by TPL
