Position Minimum Requirements Salary

Public Relations Officer

Media & Public Relations Unit, Chief of Staff Command

 Either/Or:
  • Postgraduate qualification (TNQAB framework Level 8) + up to 1 year of relevant experience
  • Relevant degree + 1 year in a similar role or 3 years relevant work experience
  • Relevant diploma + 3 years in a similar role or 8 years relevant work experience.
  • 5 years experience in a similar role.

Salary Range: $29,071 - $38, 156

Starting point to commensurate with the qualification and experience brought to the role

Senior Policy Officer

Chief of Staff Command

 Either/Or:
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification (Level 8 TNQAB framework) + at least 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Relevant degree + 1 year in similar role or 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Relevant diploma + 3 years in similar role or 8 years of relevant work experience. o Current Public Service or private sector employee with 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and understanding of Tonga Police’s operational environment would be an advantage.
“Relevant” qualifications for this position include Law, Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration or Management, Commerce, or similar from a recognised tertiary institution.

Salary Range: $29,071 - $38, 156
