• IT Engineer Officer
The Tonga Broadcasting Commission is seeking an experienced IT Engineer Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- System Architecture: Design and implement scalable, robust IT solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business.
- Network Management: Manage and optimize our network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Server Administration: Maintain and troubleshoot our server environment, including hardware, operating systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Security Enhancement: Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard our data and infrastructure from cyber threats.
- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective support to end-users, resolving IT issues and ensuring minimal disruption to productivity.
- Documentation: Provide and record for all Computer System, Servers and software for the Company references.
- Report: Direct report to Technical Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in networking, server administration, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
