1. Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Leadership Division

Band G

  • PHD with at least one-year relevant working experience
  • Master’s Degree with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role OR at least 5 years relevant working experience
  • Post Graduate Diploma with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 6 years relevant working experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 10 years relevant working experience
Qualifications acceptable for this role must be in Commerce, Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Management from a recognised educational institution.

2. Communications and Public Relations Manager

Leadership Division

Band H

  • Master’s Degree with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role OR at least 4 years relevant working experience
  • Post Graduate Diploma with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 5 years relevant working experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 8 years relevant working experience
Qualifications acceptable for this role must be in Communication, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Journalism, Media, or Arts from a recognised educational institution.

3. Principal Legal Officer

Financial Framework Division

  • Master Degree with at least 3 years relevant working experience;
  • Professional Diploma in Legal Practice and Bachelor Degree with at least 5 years relevant working experience
Qualifications acceptable for this role must in Law from a recognized common law institution/jurisdiction.

4. Senior Auditor

Internal Audit Division

Band J

  • Master’s Degree with no working experience
  • Post Graduate Diploma with at least 1 year experience in a similar role or at least 3 years relevant working experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or at least 4 years relevant working experience
Qualifications acceptable for this role must in be in Accounting, Professional Accounting or Auditing from a recognized educational institution.

5. Sub- Treasurer

Niuatoputapu Subtreasury, Treasury Division

  • Postgraduate qualification (TNQAB framework Level 8 & up) + up to 1 year of relevant experience
  • Relevant degree + 1 year in a similar role, or 3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Relevant diploma + 3 years in a similar role, or 8 years’ relevant work experience
Current TPS employee with 5 years of working experience in a similar role (meeting other_ core competency and experience requirements specified in a job description + PMS scores of 3 or above for the past 2 consecutive years)

6. Assistant Secretary

10. Daily Paid Clerk Class III

  • Form 6 PSSC or equivalent of Certificate level 2 + 4 years’ work experience

11. Daily Paid Cleaner/Caretaker

  • Form 5 TSC or equivalent of Certificate level 1
*exceptions: Cleaners, Caretakers, Groundskeepers, Handymen, Watchmen, Laundry Assistants (basic literacy and numeracy skills will be required in the absence of secondary school).
