The Dongguan Cultural Troupe of performers travelled from China to present a special Royal Performance in celebration of the 60th birthday of HM King Tupou VI in Nuku'alofa.
The colourful and talented troupe entertained the King, with Queen Nanasipau'u and invited guests at the Fa'onelua Centre on Friday afternoon.
Masterful face-changing by Fang Wenquiang captivated the audience, as his slight of hand revealed different coloured masks.
A folk music ensemble by the National Music Group of Dongguan's Cultural Centre presented Cantonese Music, followed by colourful dance items.
Tai Chi performer Lin Deyuan accompanied by Wu Bin on Chinese drum gave a solo martial arts performance.
The entertainment also included a painter and magic show. It concluded with a chorus of "Happy Birthday".
