Soifua from Amerika Samoa

Pago Pago, American Samoa

Editor,

Fakamolemole ka ke fakahoko atu mu'a 'eku tali nounou ki Mr. Albert Sanft of San Mateo.

I was not going to dignify your last letter to the editor with a response. But I must apologize for waisting your time. I am now convinced that you have no idea what you are talking about.

I humbly asked for your own contribution. You tell me to read the late Prince Tu'ipelehake's report. I asked for your method of implementation, you instruct me to ask King George Tupou V. But don't feel bad. There are many people like you in the world. So fast to complain but have nothing solid to offer. Thank you for the advice nevertheless.

You hit the nail on the head there Mr. Sanft. I am for changes. I am for rational, realistic and sensible changes.

You can not recall a half-democracy-half-monarchy government. I have not seen a fully democratic country.

USA, is a multi-party system, yet full of corruption. However, because America has that strong economic base, it is able to survive the

ramification of these corrupt leaders.

As a Combat Veteran of the United States Marines, I have all the right to say anything I want about this US of America. You don't. I have paid my dues. You have not.

As a full blooded Tongan, I am obligated to encourage what is proper and sensible for my home country. You don't have to.

Tofa Soifua
