Some 10% of Tonga Police staff (35 people) have been dismissed, are serving time in prison or are under investigation for dishonesty, brutality or bribery since 2012, the retiring Police Commissioner Grant O'Fee said today.

The Tonga Police are hunting four to five male suspects who broke into a home in Sopu early this morning and tied up the occupant, a woman in her 40's who was home alone. One of the men is alleged to have raped the woman during the robbery.
