Lord Tu'iha'ateiho

The Preliminary Inquiry for Lord Tu’iha’ateiho, the current Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga, who is charged with one count of unlawful possession of a firearm, has been set for July 29-31.

A Preliminary Inquiry of the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga Lord Tu’iha’ateiho, who has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm without a license will be held on February 22. Meanwhile Lord Tu’ilakepa’s appeal against a Magistrate ruling will be heard on January 30.

A Preliminary Inquiry of the current Deputy Speaker of the Tonga Legislative Assembly Lord Tu’iha’ateiho on one charge of unlawful possession of a firearm without a license is adjourned to October 18, for a new date to be fixed.

Four Tongan Lords, including the current Speaker of Parliament, a former Speaker of Parliament, a current Noble’s Representative to Parliament and a Law Lord each have pending court cases in Tonga’s courts, after being charged with offences ranging from illicit drugs to illegal possession of firearms, ammunitions, and perjury.
