Tonga Sevens Men's team won two games in a row at the World Challengers Series in Dubai on 12 January 2024.

On the first day of the tournament, Tonga defeated Chile 26 – 19 and Portugal 26 – 21.

However, the team lost to Japan 5 – 19 on the second day of the tournament resulting in an early knock-out.

Meanwhile, Kenya Men’s and China Women’s team dominated and won the series, taking back the gold medals to their home countries.
