177 graduates at USP Tonga Graduation [1]

The USP Tonga campus graduation ceremony for 177 graduates, brought emotion and excitement to families and loved ones, today at the Falemasiva Hall, Havelu, this morning.
Chancellor of the University, Governor General of the Solomon Islands HE Sir David Vunagi, presented the certificates, and degrees of the graduates.
Among the 177 graduates, 44% were from the Pacific Technical and Further Education (Pacific TAFE) programs, 43% from the Undergraduate degrees, and 13% graduated with a post-graduate qualification, while 10 graduated with their Master's degrees.
The USP Vice Chancellor and President Professor Pal Ahluwalia congratulated the students.
"These are significant achievements and a clear indication of the resilience of our students as well as the quality and excellence that is recognized within our University."
The acting Minister for Education and Training Hon. Dr Saia Piukala was guest of honour.
