Tonga High School celebrates the return of inter-house athletics [1]

A hot sunny day did not burn the enthusiasm of Tonga High School students, who started their Inter-House Athletics Competition today, singing and dancing to cheer on their teams, at Teufaiva Stadium.

The two-day competition includes track and field events.

Students were celebrating a return to normal activities, after school sports events were cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 emergency restrictions.

Meanwhile, other secondary schools held their inter-house athletics competitions last week, in preparation for the annual Inter-College Athletics competition, which is being planned for April.
