Five-thousand elementary students in the state of Utah in the United States were given winter garments by the Tony Finau Foundation – a charity founded by Tony Finau in 2015. 

Donation packages included official Tony Finau beanies, gloves, hoodies and coats. The warm apparel will no doubt be appreciated by the children as, unlike Tonga, the December period in Utah is extremely cold with day temperatures sometimes falling to below zero.

The happy ending to 2019 marks a great year for Tony Finau who helped Team USA win the prestigious Presidents Cup that took place in Melbourne between 12 – 15 December. Finau was personally picked to join Team USA in the Presidents Cup by the legendary Tiger Woods.

The 30-year-old won his first PGA Tour title at the Puerto Rico Open in 2016. His goal is, no doubt, to scalp a another career win in 2020, as he progresses towards the possible prospect of one day becoming the number ranked golfer in the World.
