'Ikale Tahi fans, Treasury, Nuku'alofa, Tonga 16 June 2017.

Tongans will be crowding around their televisions and radios this evening as the national rugby team 'Ikale Tahi faces Wales at 6:30pm Tongan time, in a match at Eden Park, Auckland, New Zealand. Nuku'alofa work places today were full of red-dressed supporters. 

In Tonga the live broadcast of the match, funded by government, will be freely broadcast by the Tonga Broadcasting Commission.

The match can be seen from the following Tongan local media outlets:

  • TBC Television & Radio Tonga – Channel 1, 2
  • Digicel Play (TV) , Channel 2
  • Broadcom Broadcasting, FM 87.5 radio, with Tongan sports commentator.
