• Accounts Manager
Tonga Airports Limited is inviting qualified/experienced, motivated and skilled person who are interested in working at airports and contributing to the development of Aviation in the Kingdom of Tonga, to apply for this vacant position:
The Position:
The ACCOUNTS MANAGER position has become available. The successful applicant will manage, oversee and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Unit, and to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the unit such as management and monitoring role of all TAL accounting functions, reports and financial advices
1) Requirements:
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification is a Bachelor in Accounting with at least 5-7 years’ experience works in Finance and related field
- Computer literate
Work Experience
- 5-7 years’ experience work in Financial Accounting & Administration
2) Core Responsibilities
- Ensure diligent performance of accounting functions to ensure that accurate records are kept.
- Prepare purchase orders and vouchers within a specified timeframe to ensure that internal records for expenses are accurately kept and orders are made in a timely manner.
- Assist in the drafting of the annual budget when required to support other team members.
- Ensure training of team members on a needs basis to aid with their professional development.
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Responsible for auditing process and completion.
- Maintain and update financial records to provide accurate analysis and advice to CFO/CEO
- Oversee Fixed Assets Registered and Depreciation Schedule
- Oversee TAL Petty Cash
- Maintain and secure Attaché System at all time
- Manage staff skills and development.
- Efficiently manage Finance Staff leave, attendance, attitude of Finance staff etc. to ensure favourable working environment.
