Ports Authority Tonga is inviting applications for the following positions:

Positions Minimum Requirements Remuneration
Occupational Health & Safety Manager Essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience, preferably in a HSE role within ports, maritime, transport, or heavy industrial operations with at least 3 years in a senior/managerial role.
Desirable
  • Certified Safety Professional
  • Familiar with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
  • Project safety management experience on port or marine infrastructure projects
 Remuneration: Salary Band I, ranging from $35,000-$52,200
Assistant Audit Officer Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, Quality Management or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in auditing, compliance, or quality management or relevant working experience
Desirable
  • Knowledge on ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards, auditing concepts, and risk management principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry, documentation, report writing, attention to detail, effective communication, professional growth mindset.
 Remuneration: Salary Band M, ranging from $17,000 - $26,000
Accounting Officer - Payable Minimum Requirements:
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-year working experience in accounts payable, finance, or a related field.
Desirable
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to payable management.
  • Proficiency in using Financial Management Systems (FMS) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
 Remuneration: Salary Band N, ranging from $13,500 - $20,000
