Tonga Police operates 24-hours a day in a complex environment actively maintaining law and order, preserving peace, protecting life and property, preventing and detecting crime, providing community support reassurance, upholding the laws of Tonga, undertaking the service and execution of court processes and carrying out land and marine search and rescue operations through new and innovative ways to provide the people of Tonga with the police service they expect and deserve. Position Applicants Must: Salary Band and Range
Recruit Constable
  • Successfully Pass Tonga National Form Six Certificate (TNFSC) or higher qualification
  • Have a high level of physical fitness.

Band R

$8,586 - $12,880

Upon successful completion of 6-months residential training, salary will be increased from Band R to Band Q at $10,138 per annum.

Please note a Criminal and Medical Check will be conducted if your application is successful, and driver training will be provided during the Recruitment Training Program.
