Position Responsibility Principal Duties Qualifications and Experience Remuneration
1. Billing Supervisor The Billing Supervisor is directly responsible to the Chief Executive Officer reporting through the Finance Manager for maintaining strong relationships with clients and resolving billing-related issues that may arise.
  1. Supervise and manage a team of billing officers by providing guidance and support to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of billing processes.
  2. Oversee the timely and accurate generation of water bills to our customers, ensuring that all billing information is correct and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Review and analyse billing data and reports to identify any discrepancies or errors, taking appropriate actions to resolve them.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that billing processes are aligned with overall business objectives and customer satisfaction goals.
  5. Monitor and maintain customer accounts, ensuring that all billing records are up to date and accurately reflect the services provided.
  6. Undertake any duties that may be assigned from time to time by Finance Manager/CEO.
  • A Bachelor`s in Finance/Accounting or a related field with at least two (2) years of working experience or a Diploma in Finance/Accounting with at least three (3) years of working experience in a similar field.

Required Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of billing systems and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Remuneration will be based on qualification and experience.
2. Billing Officer The Billing Officer is directly responsible to the Chief Executive Officer reporting through the Finance Manager for providing effective and efficient billing services.
  1. Assist the Billing Supervisor in ensuring that the all water meter readings are accurately recorded to the system.
  2. Assist in collecting data from the IT for the smart meter readings on a monthly basis.
  3. Assist in compiling the list of malfunctioning meters that require surveying subsequent repair by plumbers.
  4. Ensure that all new water installations have an active account on the system.
  5. Input list of meter reading and generate water bills for each corresponding meter reading block.
  6. Ensure that all entries are inserted correctly into the system.
  7. Ensure that all water bills are distributed according to meter reading blocks.
  8. Ensure that all debtor reconciliation for Vava`u, Ha`apai and `Eua are accurately recorded.
  9. Undertake any other duties that may be assigned by the CEO/Supervisor.
  • A Diploma in Finance/Business or a related field with at least two (2) years of previous experience in a similar field.
Remuneration will be based on qualification and experience.
