Policy, Public Diplomacy and Communications Officer to the UK High Commission
The British High Commission in Nuku’alofa is recruiting for a Policy, Public Diplomacy & Communications Officer. The main purpose of this job will be to ensure the UK High Commission keeps abreast of policy developments which may affect the UK. Part of this role is to maximise opportunities for the UK to engage with the host country on UK foreign policy priorities, including through programme management. Also, the job holder will be responsible in devising and implementing communication plans for the UK High Commission.
We are looking for a person with similar policy and communications experience and with strong knowledge of host government systems and media.
This is a permanent position (38 gross hours a week). The gross annual salary for this position is TOP 36,359.
