The wedding of Hon. Frederica Lupe’uluiva Fatafehi ‘o Lapaha Tuita and Sione Mateialona Filipe was held in Auckland on Saturday, August 10. 

The bride (29) is a daughter of Princess Pilolevu and Lord Tuita of Tonga, and the groom is the son of ‘Olive Mangisi Filipe and Sione Filipe Snr.

The wedding service held at the Anglican Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell was conducted by the Most Reverend Dr Winston Halapua, Archbishop of Polynesia, and the Very Reverend Jo Kelly Moore - Dean.

Members of the Royal Family, including Crown Prince Tupouto’a ‘Ulukalala, Princess Sinaitakala, the Queen Mother Halaevalu Mata’aho and Prince Tu’ipelehake attended with many other guests.

A wedding reception was held at the Sky Grand Convention Centre.
