The Fiji Warriors thrashed Tonga A 25-16 in the final game of the IRB 2012 Pacific Rugby Cup series this afternoon, October 19 at Teufaiva Stadium, Nuku'alofa.

The two Fijian wingers scored a try each during the first half. Winger No. 14, Maikeli Mocetadra, scored the first try in the 14th minute of the first half. Kolinio Vunaki at No. 10 missed the conversion, but 14 minutes later Kolinio converted a penalty kick and the score was 8-0. In the 42^nd minute, winger No. 11, Manueli Gade crossed for a try, and it was successfully converted.

At half time the score was 15-0.

Tonga A put their first point on the scoreboard only four minutes into the second half with a converted penalty.

The Warriors responded with another three pointer, and the score was 18-3.

Tonga No. 15 Setaleki Lu'au added on another three points with a dropped kick in the 17^th minute, and the score was 18-6.

In the 21^st minute, Tonga A No. 8 Lotu Flipine crossed the line for Tonga A's only try of the game; it was successfully converted by Setaleki and the score was 18-13, but it was not for long.

The Warriors scored another converted try and the score went up to 25-13.

Tonga A added on another three points and at the end of the game the score was 25-16.

The IRB Pacific Rugby Cup trophy was later presented to the Fijian Warriors captain, Leone Nakarawa by Tonga's King Tupou VI.
