Manase Afuha'amango, Mr Tonga 2012-13

Manase Afuha'amango won the Mr Tonga 2012-13 title at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall, Nuku'alofa on Saturday night, August 3.

Manase snatched the title from about 40 Tongan body builders from Australia, New Zealand and from Tonga, who were competing for the title.

Talai Nau from the Tonga Body Building Federation said that this year was the second year that the Tonga Body Building Federation hosted the event, with the objective of promoting the sports. "We invited Tongan body builders from the USA, Australia and New Zealand, but USA body builders could not make it this time."

The contest offered trophies and cash prizes in three categories, a Junior Category, Senior Category and an Open Category.
