'Ikale Tahi's defeat of the French 19-14 tonight silenced the French while rapturous 'Ikale Tahi fans went completely mad red and celebrated the victory with the ecstatic team.

In Nuku'alofa the town erupted into celebration at the final whistle and people flooded into the streets of the capital screaming, honking horns and running around in delirious excitement for several hours late into the night.
