Two arrested in Mataika for alleged possession of meth [1]

A 40-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Mataika Tongatapu, have been arrested in Police drug operations.
Both suspects have been charged with Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Utensils, Tonga Police stated today.
During the operation, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, more than 70 boxes of tablets, and cash in Tongan pa'anga, New Zealand, Australian, and United States currencies, along with other property were seized suspected to be linked to the alleged offences.
Police investigations are ongoing.
