Kauvai Force win Tonga Netball Fiesta Tournament finals [1]

The Kauvai Force (Men’s team) won a cash prize of $2,000 pa'anga, after defeating the Silver Birds in the Open Men’s Category, at the Tonga Netball Fiesta Tournament finals, held at the BSP netball court in Nuku’alofa today, 14 December 2024.

Meanwhile, Kolofo’ou Lions dominated the Under 14 girls, Under 21 Mixed and the Open Women’s categories. The Lions defeated the Hihifo Legends (20-19) in the Open Women's category in a close game, to secure their $2,000 cash prize.

Tonga Offshore Mining Ltd. sponsored the tounament, which attracted over 30 registered teams on 9 December and ended today with seven teams vying for prizes in the finals.

There were four categories in the tournament including, the Under-14 Girls, Under-21 Mixed, Open Women and Men’s teams.

The Best All Round player on and off court was awarded to Christopher Faka'osiehau.
