Tonga's fighters at World Taekwondo Junior Championships [1]

Tonga's taekwondo fighters, Atiola Vitapa (16) and Taufa Naufaho (17) have arrived in Chuncheon, South Korea to compete at the 2024 World Taekwondo Junior Championships.

‘Atiola and Taufa will be competing on Thursday October 3 and Sunday October 6.

The athletes travelled with a support team that includes Grand Master Baikuyoon Pil, Head Coach Master Paul Sitapa, Trainer Viliami Iongi, and Team Manager Annie Malolo.

A record number of athletes will compete at the 2024 World Taekwondo Junior Championships from 1-6 October. The World Taekwondo (WT) announced that 963 young athletes are set to compete across 10 weight categories in both the men's and women's divisions.
