Tonga U15 teams traveling to Heritage Cup Competition in France [1]

Tonga U15 Girls and Tonga College U15 teams are travelling to France, representing Tonga and joining 700 players from across the globe, at the Heritage Cup Competition in Pontlevoy,

The U15 Girls team was chosen from various villages and schools throughout Tonga.

The Heritage Cup is the first school rugby world tournament in history, kicking off one week before the 2023 Rugby World-Cup.

It consists of three categories; the Rugby Sevens, the Rugby Short, and the Rugby Chef. Participants will need to demonstrate their talents not only in rugby, but in the kitchen and behind the camera as well.

The champions will be the team with the highest number of points at the end of all three competitions.

The next Rugby Heritage Cup is to be held in Australia in 2027.
