Tonga wins first match against Samoa in 2022 Oceania Rugby U20 Trophy [1]

Tonga’s Under 20’s team have taken the win (20-19) in their first match of the 2022 Oceania Rugby Under 20’s Trophy match, against Samoa at Teufaiva Stadium, Nuku'alofa, on 29 November.

Both teams are scheduled to play again in a final match on Saturday 3 December, at 3:00pm Tonga time. 

This Trophy also serves as a qualification event for the World Rugby U20s Trophy in 2023.
