10th celebration of One Tonga for King's Birthday [1]

The Tonga Choral Night brought together a variety of church choirs on Sunday July 4, for an annual choral evening that never fails to impress, at the Queen Salote Memorial Hall.

The event, held in celebration of the King's Birthday, featured 13 choirs and groups, as well as the Tupou College Music Academy brass brand.

The One Tonga Glorifying God in Song programme is hosted by FEXCO / Western Union and supported by community sponsors.

Robina Nakao, CEO of Fexco/ Western Union, said this year was the 10th celebration of the One Tonga concert.

She said the COVID-19 pandemic was having a devastating impact on the world, where more than 4 million lives were lost in the pandemic. In remembrance of them she called for a minute's silence.

Guest of Honour was HM Queen Nanasipau‘u, and the crowd filled the Queen Salote Memorial Hall.
