The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, appeared polished for a royal reception and private audience with King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau'u after making a quick change into evening clothes following their arrival in Tonga on a charter flight this afternoon. Meghan dazzled in a perfect white, sleeveless gown, and Prince Harry in a black tuxedo wore his miniature medals.
The dress code was Dinner jacket decorations, formal national, or ceremonial.
The royal visitors dined with the King and Queen of Tonga and members of the Royal Family.
The dinner was followed by traditional Tongan entertainment in a marquee on the lawn of Consular House on the Nuku'alofa seafront, near the Royal Palace. The location was formerly the residence of the last British High Commissioner to Tonga, but is now a residence of the royal family.
Prince Harry's honours include Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order. His Medals: Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal; Operational Service Medal for Afghanistan and Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
