Top students in 'Eua soroban [1]

Six young students who topped the written examination in 'Eua’s soroban competition on July 19 will represent ‘Eua Schools at the National Competition in Nuku’alofa in March next year.
They are the top three in each of Class 3-4 from Teisa Langa’oi to Malu Williams, Lupe Fungalei, Kalolaine Havea, 'Ofa Vakapuna and Lingovai Kakaufaka'atu'i.
‘Ohonua Government Primary School won the top school out of six that participated with 250 students from classes 3, 4 and 5 competing in the three categories of written examination, oral and flash.
This competition, begins the 2018 Annual District competition held every year, since 2010. Next up is Vava'u in August.
The competition is co-hosted of the Embassy of Japan and the Ministry of Education and Training, with support from the Tonga Soroban Education Association, JICA Tonga Office, and Japan International Soroban Diffusion Foundation.
