50.8kg sailfish tops Nuku'alofa Fishing Club tournament [1]

A 50.8kg sailfish caught by Rehan Razak on the Hustle and Flow was the heaviest fish caught during a two-days fishing tournament, June 3-5 run by the Nuku’alofa Fishing Club.
Unfortunately Razak could not make it to the prizing giving ceremony .
In second place was a 27.6kg Giant Trevally caught by Kenji Niwa who was fishing in a kayak; the first time for a fisherman in a kayak to participate in a fishing tournament of the club.
Kenji’s other kayak fisherman colleague, Kilisimasi Ha’apai also caught a 9.8kg Amberjack.

3rd Nathan Bahning 80.8pts
The highest scoring female angler was Joana Sugar and the highest scoring junior angler was her son, Alex Sugar.

The two days fishing tournament was sponsored by the Tanoa International Dateline Hotel.
