Tonga’s Junior Tennis team compete in Auckland [1]

Junior tennis players representing Tonga are currently competing at the East Pacific Regional Championships at the Scarbro Tennis Centre in Auckland, New Zealand which runs from 10-15 April.
Tonga’s junior team of 10 female players and seven male players, with several coming from Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
The team has been competing in singles and doubles matches in their relevant age groups with impressive results so far.
National Coach and Team Manager, Iasinito Hausia, said the junior team is ranked 10th out of 21 members in the Oceania Region, and with only one more day to go in the tournament, he hopes they will finish well in Auckland.
"We hope that our participation at this event in Auckland will help improve our ranking in the Oceania Region."
The Championship is an International Tennis Federation event held annually involving Oceania Tennis Federations, including Tahiti, Cook Islands, Samoa, American Samoa and Tonga.
To take part in the tournament, Tonga Tennis Junior were sponsored financially by International Tennis Federation and Tonga Tennis Association, with Sunshine Rental Cars sponsoring the teams tournament t-shirts.
